MEAM European Museum Of Modern Art of Barcelona.

Updated: Jan 4, 2023

The MEAM (European Museum of Modern Art of Barcelona), located in the heart of the Spanish city, will be the site of the 4st International Bienal de Arte Barcelona.

18 to 20 November, 2022

For the occasion, a select number of international Artists, will have the honor to exhibit Ivonne Torre's Art work in the halls precious Gomis Palace, a short walk from the Picasso Museum.

The event of international importance, was conceived and curated by Francesco Saverio Russo, Salvatore Russo and Sandro Serradifalco.

The MEAM is located down a side-street in the Born, one of the quarters which make up Barcelona’s Old Town. Just like its neighbour, the Picasso Museum, it’s housed in a former mansion: the Palau Gomis, a superb 18th-Century neoclassical edifice, named after a rich textile merchant who had the house rebuilt in 1792.

The historical aspect of the building provides a strong and effective foil for the museum’s supremely modern collections.
